I've recently discovered The Durutti Column, and I've really wanted to check out more of their/his stuff. I found out about them while I was listening to the Factory box set, and it included one of their songs, "Sketch for Summer". That song remains my favorite of what little I've heard from them. I've so far only listened to "The Return of the Durutti Column", and I'm looking for a few good albums/songs to explore in their vast catalog.

I'm trying to get more into Shoegaze genre. Already heard My Bloody Valentine, M83 and Slowdive. Didn't really like MBV, M83 is good, but I already love Slowdive, what other bands are there like them?

Chapterhouse and Secret Shine.

Chapterhouse is a criminally underrated band that tends to lean more towards the pop-oriented side of shoegaze/dream-pop, and was one of the last great shoegaze bands.

Secret Shine is another 90's shoegaze bands that doesn't get much attention, but inhabits a very ethereal, dreamy atmosphere.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, get Whirlpool and Rownderbowt for Chapterhouse and Untouched for Secret Shine.
