as this blessed evening falls don't forget the alcohol
Hey pals. I've been looking out for some good times "jazz" music. I say jazz like that because I'm not quite sure what style of jazz "The Seatbelts" fall under (the guys who did the music for the Cowboy Bebop Soundtrack). I really dig the jazz songs from the show both crazy and frantic (like NY Rush) to the slower sad saxophone songs. That said, I don't even know where to start. I have Coltrane's "Giant Steps" and the Ellis Marsalis Quintet playing Thelonius Monk as well as Coltrane + Monk's Riverside recordings, and I enjoy those but I guess I want stuff more along the lines of what the Seatbelts do.
