I'm a guy with really really diverse tastes so forgive me. I need some new electronic music and I was hoping for some reccomendations. things I like Twosley by Minotaur Shock http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMDBpU-AkyI&fmt=18 It's not the same by Yppah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5wbb9YWYRA&fmt=18 Brainstorm Teranoid vs Technorch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puWXvfOnCdA&fmt=18 Hajnal by Venetian Snares http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9beA88_66c&fmt=18 And my most favoritest song ever at the moment, Schranz X by Dj Technorch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC-oojM3FS0&fmt=18 I'm very fond of heavy bass and rapidfire percussion. I normally don't care for Melody heavy music but I'm willing to give anything a try. Finally aside from Gabba, D&B, Breakcore, I can branch out to multiple genres from Classical to Country/Bluegrass to Mathcore. Any help?

Failbird posted:I'd appreciate recommendations for music with heavy focus on African drumming (djembe, ewe music etc). Hossam Ramzy hails from Egypt *that counts right* The only problem I have with this guy is the fact that alot of his cd's are pretty much one song after another sounding similar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wNR206EFhA&fmt=18 *edit* I think I should take this time to make a request myself. I know nothing about shamisen's and I want something that sounds like this, that isn't Indian mind you. I listen to plenty Indian music already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxtJGoZjgRs&fmt=18 Munoma fucked around with this message at 14:33 on Mar 22, 2009 |

Way Past Cool! posted:Well blues and jazz aren't really the same thing at all, but if you're looking for blues harmonica, Sonny Boy Williamson II is one of the best harpists. For blues in general (with some harmonica) I'd recommend Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf. You forgot Little Walter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtnJM8iUy38&feature=channel_page *edit* sorry if I sound like a snoot, I know a fifty year old harmonica player in a blues band XD Munoma fucked around with this message at 05:10 on Mar 31, 2009 |
