So I need some music. I'm into many types of music, but my favorite has to be Indie/Folk, such as the following;

-Sufjan Stevens
-Neutral Milk Hotel
-Iron and Wine
-Fleet Foxes
-Andrew Bird
-Wolf Parade

Could I get some bands/artists that are similar to these?

Check out "Cotton Teeth" by The Snake, The Cross, The Crown.

Acoustic indie goodness, strings, piano, catchy as hell songs, just great stuff.

For more folk/less indie, Joanna Newsom. But she's not for everybody. I'm completely obsessed with her right now though.

Does Squarepusher count as electronic jazz? Cause it's awesome, get it anyway.

Anyone got any bands similar to The Dutchess And The Duke? Essentially just really simple gritty guitars and some simple harmonies and brilliant songwriting?

I really need some more bands like the ones I'm head over heels for right now, they are: The Dutchess & The Duke, Neutral Milk Hotel, Frightened Rabbit, Joanna Newsom.

What are some bands with the same kind of sound/epic songs with amazing lyrics, etc.

I haven't had a new album sink its claws into me in awhile.

I've been knocked on my rear end by alt-hiphop over the last few months, and now I'm looking for a lot more stuff like Das Racist, Kool AD, Heems, Lakutis, Kass, Action Bronson, Danny Brown, etc.

I need some chiptunes to jog to. I've started jogging every morning and for some reason I find upbeat chiptunes to be the absolute best thing to run to. I grabbed up a few retro songs I liked from Sonic and some old Nintendo games as well as a ton of stuff by Dubmood and Bit Shifter. I really like Bit Shifter's stuff; 8-bit, very upbeat and catchy. I think upbeat and catchy are the two really big requirements I'd like to ask for. If I had to sum up exactly what I'm looking for in a single song it'd be

(oh and I have a few Undertale songs as well)

Single song suggestions are welcome but also good Chiptune folks who do things similar to Bit Shifter would be great as well.

Super Hexagon soundtrack!

I'm looking for hip-hop recommendations. I like first-tier Wu-Tang Clan and Wu-Tang Forever, Kid Cudi, MF Doom, Outkast, Binary Star, and most recently The Coup.

I really hate the over-produced abrasive beats that dominate most groups now, and I can't stand Drake. I love that The Coup has strong music backing them, like funk, and I like MF Doom's flow and wordplay.

Can I get some recommendations for more stuff along the lines of Fear of Men, Pixx, and Florence and the Machine? Particular favorites of each linked.

Hopefully the sufficient condition of being music I dig involves more than just a female depressive with a maritime obsession on lead vocals but I'm starting to doubt.

Could try Between The Buried & Me if you're not turned off by fits of death vox,

They're the only real heavier band that I can roll with these days.
