My experience: 9+ years in the IT field as various levels of System and Network Administration - Mainly Win 2003, some RHEL, some Cisco (Emphasis on ASA 5500 series), 4+ years in IT Audit / Compliance / Security - Experience with DoD Information Assurance processes, PCI-DSS and Web Application Security.
