Some advice if you want to shoot when they don't allow cameras with a removable lens: Borrow/use a small bodied SLR with a pancake/prime lens. When questioned I would always say no the lens can't come off. Never got questioned past that. Obviously this wont work if you can't get up close, but you'll want to shoot with a prime anyway.
