I exist onl because of Parias'
LEGENDARY GENEROSITY.
In the last week, I've done this to my 89 GSXR 750.

Bondo'd the dent in the fuel tank and painted it
Expoy'd/bondo'd the huge hole in the front fairing and painted it
Replaced the clipon
Replaced the throttle grip
Replaced the intake camshaft & did valve adjustment
Fixed the worn-through pickup side cover and made a new gasket for it
Switched tires and wheels over
Painted the mirror

All because I crashed it. Stupid old bikes and their non-existing sliders..

Does your carb overflow onto the ground, or into the engine? If its the engine, change that oil ASAP.

Uh, I have no idea but the petrol was just pissing out onto the ground from near the air filter, just above the engine. pic here.

Yeah if it was coming out of the air box, it was also going into your engine. Check your oil level, guaranteed it's overfilled. Gasoline isn't a lubricant and will wreck your engine in short order.

Change that oil ASAP! And fix your fuel tap.

Got some Seafoam into the DRZ and GSX-R. DRZ started right up and after warming up, idled perfectly, and took throttle wonderfully.

GSX-R wouldn't start. Its always been a pig when it hasn't been run in awhile. Going to recharge battery and try again.

Sagebrush posted:

What phenomenon could make that happen? Why would premium gas actually decrease your mileage?

Premium gas has less BTU's than regular gas. You always want to use the lowest reccomended octane level that's safe for your engine. The reason it has less BTU's is so that it doesn't detonate under higher compression.

Over the last few days I

*Got the right fork seal replaced
*Repainted the mirrors
*Repainted the whole tank
*Made a license plate bracket out of angle aluminum. Turned out perfect.
*Sanded and painted the left engine cover as it had rash from a previous drop
*Failed to strip paint off old windscreen, ruined it in process, ordered a chinese one

This is the bike now! I'm stoked with how it looks:
