I paged through some sourcebooks and monster manuals for other RPGs, like Palladium, and there really isn't the same level of crazy involved. Especially compared to the Lurker.

That's the only free guide. It was text before it was ever a website. There was only one that was very popular and that was it. Anything else cost money, so I guess we're talking about different things. I'm sure there's been plenty of Adult DnD products.
