It's funny because his strike-rate is still absurdly good everywhere he goes. Even at Milan he was close to 1:2 which a lot of good strikers today don't even have. Only Eto'o at Barca (I think, not 100% sure) has a goal:game ration near where Ronaldo had, and while I know that isn't what makes or breaks a forward, it's still an interesting stastic I believe

Distant Mist posted:Yes, I will. The guy was defending under pressure from an opponent. People do crazy things under pressure. Dixon just came up with his moment of incredible genius for no reason at all, which is the critical thing that sets it apart from every other own goal I've ever seen. He's just standing there 30 yards out under no pressure at all, could have decided to do anything in the world, and chose to turn and chip his own goalkeeper. That's true class.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2ujBOUQIxw&feature=related Rivaldo Hat trick against Valencia. It was the last game of the season and Barca needed to win to secure a spot in the Champions League. The last goal comes in the 88th minute and is probably one of the nicest goals scored in a top flight league against a quality opponent ever. loving epic. Get chills watching it. There are few sights in the world that excite me as much as Scholesy teeing up one of his long range thunderbolts. Few players in the world know how to shoot the ball half as well as he does. It's just a shame he doesn't shoot more often because he still has the potential to score 10 goals a season.

Kris Boyd does his best Van Basten impersonation at 2.00 in. The free hit at the start is nice too. Marco Negri scores 5 against dundee united. The 3rd was amazing starts at 1.58. Also notice that he is totally mental and doesnt even celebrate completing his hat trick. Also the entire back catalogue of clips for James Mcfadden and Brian Laudrup.
