2008 Kawasaki ZZR-600 sport tourer, $4500 obo (Gainesville, FL) NOTE: I am open to partial trades for an older, cheaper to insure Japanese bike, and/or firearms. I am selling my 2008 Kawasaki ZZR-600 to pay off some debt. I have the title in hand, and can show the bike any time of the day. It is an excellent sport tourer, and is very comfortable on the highway, with a good amount of power. It has never been raced, stunted, or even intentionally wheelied. It recently had its 7500 mile tune up. It currently has 8000 miles, though I continue to ride it so this may go up. The rear tire is a Pilot Road 2, the front is a Pilot Power, both have good tread remaining. It has absolutely no mechanical defects. Accessories: Corbin seat - makes a huge difference Heli-bars for added wrist comfort Buell footpegs for extra legroom Dark smoke double bubble windscreen Frame and swingarm sliders(hard to see in the pictures, but they are the high-dollar ones, extremely sturdy) Nelson-Rigg saddlebags and rear seat bag Kryptonite disc lock Front flush-mount LED turn signals (stock seat, handlebars, windscreen and footpegs are included) Flaws: Right side fairing is slightly less than perfect (a couple scratches)

I have two items that need to leave my ownership. 1) Reflective red wheel tape for two 17" rims. This is the stuff that shines white in direct light and comes in pre-cut strips (instead of a roll). How's :tenbux: shipped from CA sound? 2) Honda badges removed from a Joe Rocket jacket. There's a big two-part "HONDA" a big Wing for the back, and a couple smaller wings for the arms. Cover shipping and they're yours. Figure about $4. Pics available if needed - username @ mac.com.

2003 Z1000 3300 OBO Current salvage title in hand. Bike is located in Goleta, CA but I would be willing to deliver it pretty much anywhere in CA or potentially elsewhere. Let's talk if you live on the west coast and are interested. I've decided to put my 2003 Z1000 up for sale because I would like to get a supermoto and cannot afford to have more than one bike. I really love this bike, it's been 100% reliable and a ton of fun. The oil has been changed regularly and the brakes were just bled recently. I'm a small female rider and I've had no problems handling it (ladies...it's an eye catcher). I would be interested in trades for a street plated supermoto, but nothing else at the moment. I'd be happy to add cash on top since my bike is worth a bit less than a supermoto. I've owned the bike for a year, bought it with 18k miles and it has about 25k on it now. It is a salvage title only due to the previous owners request to have it salvaged after he dropped it at a stop sign (he had a friend at a dealership). There is cosmetic damage to the bike but it is minimal, just a few dents on the tank and very minor rash on the rear fairing. I bought the stock exhausts about 6 months ago off craigslist and they have small dents in them, nothing major and it's not very noticeable when the bike is clean. Here's a list of after market parts on it which would come with the bike, I also have some of the stock parts as well: Pazzo levers ZX10 rear shock Kawasaki low bars (dropped an inch) ZX10 pegs Puig windscreen (I have the stock one as well) Bar end mirrors ZX10 master cylinder and clutch perch Undertail kit Case savers Mini turn signals Heated grips An extra tank that's in better shape than the one on it PM me or email me at krojala at gmail.com. I'm selling my Joe Rocket Lightspeed textile jacket that I bought a while back through the new enough closeout. I wore this thing once during a ride and never again. It seems like a decent jacket but the fit just does not work for me, it's too big in the stomach/chest area. Jacket size is a small. Jacket Removable liner I'll entertain any offers, I only paid $75 for this thing during the NewEnough closeout. If you're in the bay area you can pick it up instead of having me ship it. *UK GOONS* Going to be selling my trackbike and getting a dirt bike, as I'm only "allowed" a certain number of bikes on the premises. Open to offers before I e-bay it this weekend. Details as follows: 1989 CBR400RR NC23 Triarm * V5 present in my name, currently SORNed. Lighting loom appears to be present & taped up at the front, so potentially a candidate for some Chinese E-bay/Tyga bodywork and an MOT. Still button-start so no pushing or rollers needed. It has been desrestricted - no JDM speed limiter. * Fully functional ready-to-ride condition - forks, shock 100%, race bodywork generally in VGC and even with a matching orange paintjob and stickers from the guys who used to race it. Only thing wrong is a stuck pad mounting pin in one front caliper, but there's still pad life and calipers are about £20 a set from e-bay. * Trick bits: CBR600 steelie shock w/ remote res., crash bungs, Harris rearsets, braided lines, carbon can on stock headers. Dunlop Alpha 10s with lots of life - sticky as gently caress. * Assorted parts - spare shock, bits of bodywork etc. I bought it in spring and only got in 3 trackdays. I've changed the oil and filter, cleaned and flushed through the coolant system, had the carbs cleaned and balanced, repaired a damaged throttle stop and had the valve clearances done by the local Honda dealer. The '23's engine is much tougher than the later '29, and with the valves done and the gear-driven cams, it should go on forever. Looking for £750. It's an honest trackbike or 400 racebike and needs nothing doing to it, but you could buy some spangly Tyga plastics and make a winter project of it, or wire up a horn and give it an MOT. I'm not on PMs so post up here if you want contact details to get pics, etc. Located in west Surrey and delivery within a reasonable radius is possible at cost. And to prove it works! (Brands shakedown trip ICYWW...)

Selling a set of Dainese two piece leathers -- Jacket size 52 (euro), pants I believe are 56. Black, never crashed in, great condition with pretty drat thick leather. I don't know what exactly it is but comparing it to some Teknic gear I used to have that was 1.2mm I would put it at 1.4+. Full circumference zipper to connect the jacket and pants securely. The jacket has a full length removable quilted liner that drastically increases the range of temps you can comfortably ride in. I've ridden in these from temps in the 90s (which admittedly was pretty godawful, the jacket is not perferated. The pockets act as vents though so as long as I was moving it wasn't completely nasty) to low thirties with a few layers underneath. I'm perfectly comfortable in the low-mid 40s with just a long sleeve shirt and some underarmor. If it's above 50 I take the liner out. There's some pretty serious armor in the shoulders, elbows/forearms, and knee/shin. As I mentioned I have not 'tested' this armor but it seems like it would provide great protection in a getoff. The cut is pretty generous -- the sleeves are forward rotated so it's comfortable on a sportbike but it's not a full race cut. I've ridden on a few different bikes (cb750, buell 1125r, cbr1000), all with different riding positions, and it's worked fine on all of them. The main reason I'm selling these is they're just too big. For a size comparison I'm 6' at 168lbs with a pretty average build, and wear a size 40 (US) suit. The jacket fits me fine in the shoulders but is huge through the chest/gut. the length of the pants is fine (a little shorter wouldn't hurt) but they're just big all around, even with the velcro adjuster pulled all the way tight. I would say someone in the 200-220lb range at my height or a inch or two taller would be about perfect for this gear. I'm going to end up getting a couple different sets of gear - a nice set of one piece leathers for trackdays and some textile gear for comutting/normal riding. $450 shipped or reasonable offer (confirmed this price with the great gear guru z3n, seems like a pretty fair price). Now with pictures! Nice warm liner Liner by itself, note full zip as well as snaps on the arms... it's very stable once installed in the jacket Jacket w/o liner, the mesh keeps the leather off your skin and allows airflow Closeup of mesh Pants Closeup of knee Back of legs - perf'd panel on back of knee, lower leg zippers make it easy on and off Whole thing. If you've got any questions let me know. needknees fucked around with this message at 17:55 on Dec 5, 2009 |
