Take two after getting a new carb: http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/mcy/1699656418.html Asking $2000 on CL just to see if anyone will actually bite at that price. Will sell for $1750 to goon. Great running shape. Needs cosmetic work though. hayden. fucked around with this message at 17:51 on May 3, 2010 |

About 14k miles. No second engine as far as I know. The speedo cable was broken for a short period right around when the PO titled it, which means it has an exemption for "not actual miles" on the title, but I could tell (and was told) by the PO that he never used it on-road so it's very unlikely it's more than a thousand off.

hayden. posted:Take two after getting a new carb: Lowered to $1800 on CL - figured I'd get at least a little interest at this price, but only one or two retards so far. I had an offer for 1500. I guess KLRs are just a fairly illiquid bike to sell. hayden. fucked around with this message at 17:51 on May 3, 2010 |

I see really nice CB750s always going for around 3000-4000. That's definitely one of the more desired versions of it, too. I wouldn't expect a 77' to sell for as much.

Yeah I guess I missed that part. Finding CB750 engines in good exterior shape isn't too difficult, though.

This is a long shot, but I'm going to be in Portland over labor day weekend in September. Anyone have a bike or scooter they want to rent to me for 4 days? There's a local place that does it but they want a $300 deposit plus $85/day for a 50cc, not including insurance and tax fees. I've been riding for 6 years and I'm a safe guy with a clean driving record.

kylej posted:It's not like you undo three screws and the bike turns into a naked. I don't have the skill to do the swap and sourcing parts/paying labor would be a massive pain in the rear end. It would also require a handlebar swap and replacing all the cables. Are there no registration/titling costs where you live? In Texas anyway I essentially pay sales tax with every used vehicle I buy, even from private parties.

It measures 9.5" across at the widest point if that helps.

I searched around online, found one person saying they run half a size large and another saying they're true to size. My shoe size seems to differ drastically between brands so I have no idea what size I really am. I'll try them on tonight and see how snug they are, I haven't worn them in over a year so I don't remember.

If you can't find it for sale online then I would say it is probable. Now it's a collectors item! Price raised to $12,000!!!!Synonamess Botch posted:Augh I wear a 9.5 and those would be perfect any chance they run large? I measured my foot stepping on a ruler that's backed against a wall and my heel touching the wall. My foot was 10.5" and the boot fits perfectly. I wouldn't recommend buying these boots if your foot is any longer. hayden. fucked around with this message at 22:46 on Jun 11, 2012 |

You could buy mine and get it tailored! I imagine most won't go this cheap and I bet $150 for the jacket plus $100 to get it tailored will be about as much as you'd spend on it most anywhere else. Or here's a larger one on eBay for $280, you could dye the colored parts black: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dainese-Zen...r#ht_500wt_1413 hayden. fucked around with this message at 01:17 on Jun 12, 2012 |
