We lied. We are not at war. There is no enemy. This is a rescue operation.
I have the itch for a band that sounds like discordance axis being put through 1000 distortion pedals. I need something fast, loud, but above all noisy. I'm not really familiar with grind/noise-core outside of D.A. and related bands like Gridlink. Anything out there I might enjoy?

Lots of good stuff here, thanks! I've been poking around looking for examples of the stuff I'm craving, found some stuff that's in the ballpark if anyone else out there was curious:

New to the thread, I went back a bit and didn't see anything posted when The Browning's new album was released. I'm not a real knowledgeable music genre guy but it's a pretty unique blend of metalcore/EDM (apparently a subgenre called hardstyle?). My biggest complaint is there isn't more music.

Probably my favorite song of theirs from an older album:

One of my favorite tracks from their new album:

Yeah this Foreign Hands EP is great. I listen to a lot of new music and a lot of different genres, and I try not to be that "music peaked when I was in high school" person, but listening to this makes me realize that actually, yeah, music did peak when I was in high school. Everything since 2005 has been a mistake (except for trashy eurobeatdowncore)

Speaking of TAIM, they've just announced a co-headlining tour with After the Burial with support from Currents and Brand of Sacrifice! I'll be going for Currents, but there's not a name on that lineup that I wouldn't be stoked to see

Tom out of TAS. Not really stoked on that; the current lineup worked so well as a unit and wrote “Slow Decay” which I love. Hopefully they find a good fit to replace him.

Absolution was the only album of their that I ever owned and I dug it quite a bit at the time, but I jumped ship when Black Holes and Revelations came out. Also, I saw that ERRA single, but didn't realize it was a Muse cover, so I initially skipped it. Thanks, thread, for bringing this to my attention
