It's clean and sounds well produced, but is barely different from the original in any aspect that's not production, so it's not jarringly different at all. That was definitely my favorite Whitechapel CD, but I didn't know they remastered it. I'll have to check it out

krustster posted:Not to pile on, but I liked the first couple EPs or whatever from The Last Ten Seconds of Life and this new stuff, in addition to their last new tape, sounds kind of bland and toothless. Their old stuff was pretty generic deathcore but it was certainly in the mid to upper tier of the no-name Blogspot bands of the day. This is just... well like the last poster said, kind of like later Six Feet Under. It's just kind of dull and has lost its edge. It feels like the kind of tape that nobody would give a second glance if the band didn't already have a respected name. I've been blasting that StK song on the way to work almost every day since you posted it last. ShoogaSlim posted:That song is generally pretty terrible but it is actually kinda fun. The addition of all the guest vocalists allows it to transcend how awful it is and be more about a group of dudes obviously having fun with the sound. I could never listen to it alone just jamming out but if I was drunk and pregaming with some friends, or drunk at a show they happened to open or something then I could definitely vibe. My man, what kind of pregaming do you do where the music of choice is not the most ignorant trap poo poo available?

Alright my dudes, I need help. I found this music video a year or two ago for a pretty sick song but cannot remember it for the life of me since it’s no longer on Spotify. Details I remember: - the song had some pretty heavy anti-Christianity motifs - part of the video had the lead singer being crucified with black blood everywhere - near the end of the song, one of the lyrics is the dude shouting HA! - I’m leaning towards it being an Australian band, but I could be wrong on this one This has been driving me crazy all day. Haven’t found poo poo on google yet

Guess they did all the guest vocals on “The Deathbed Sessions” and had a dedicated vocalist for the stuff before?
