Here's a couple from my summer trip to Costa Rica. It took several days of searching and waiting to catch this Quetzal:

It had been three hours of nothing that day, and it was just starting to rain... Then this male came and landed on a branch near enough for me to catch him (with my camera, not my hands). For once the horrible autofocus of the S5IS didn't fail me, and I got this shot. My favorite of the whole trip

This little guy shimmered like nothing I've ever seen. I really like the shot, but the focus is a little soft on his head. They move SO fast!
