She's actually quite a bit thinner now than she is in those pictures - 8 lbs. as compared to 16 lbs. She's 19 now, and she's been with me since I was 4. Her talents include being in the most inconvenient spot at any given moment, throwing up at inopportune times, and being a total lap-hog. In other words, she's a cat. Oh yeah, and she drools, too. Interesting note: she was named after my mother's cat Butterball, who lived to be 23. I am hoping the passing on longevity through naming trick works out, because I don't think I'll be ready to lose her anytime soon.
