Why the hell doesn't anything happen when I put in the invite code and press Continue? It doesn't say it has already been used or anything, nothing literally happens. I've tried Safari, Firefox and Chrome, same problem.

Hey, look at that, native Linux client: http://www.spotify.com/no/blog/archives/2010/07/12/linux/ Only a preview/beta, but works pretty good for me (There's two packages to install.
