The unsaid premise is of course that you shouldn't trust them because they are Muslims being placed in a Homeland Security position and Muslims = Terrorists. Any good response would force the original sender to in some way acknowledge their overt prejudice for what it is and either confront it or at least stop pretending to be sly about it.

I don't think you understand exactly how devout these guys are.

Get him this. It's not openly partisan so he won't necessarily discard it without a second thought (though he still might, I don't know your dad) and it has some pretty well-reasoned arguments about MJ reform.
