Several days ago I was looking at the pictures I just took and this one kept catching my eye. I didn't exactly know why but I just liked the picture.



About half a day later, it hit me like a brick. I just made an accidental homage to Eggleston.

Of course, it wasn't deliberate but I just love the similarities. Even the red stripe on his sweater evokes the red tie on the white man.

Does someone have a link handy to that article of photographers that students should never look at? It was a bit tongue-in-cheek and one of the photographers was Stephen Shore.
