I have that book. It is incredibly depressing Most of the endings end with you dying. Example: He still hasn't moved. It's getting harder to breathe now. You need to get out into the open air. You clamber on top of the man, trying for your cat flap, but the man's body blocks it! "Meowr!" You dig your claws into the man, trying to get a reaction, but he remains inert. By now, you can see flames traveling on the kitchen ceiling, spreading and out of control. You push your nose past the man's back at your cat flap. A weak gust of clean air sneaks in. It isn't enough, however. You are feeling drowsy. Off-balance. Dizzy, you fall off the man onto the floor beside him. He remains unconscious. You look up at the kitchen ceiling. By now it's raging. On your back, you pass out. Your eyes remain open, but unseeing. Only later, when the fire engulfs the kitchen, the man, and you, do they close. Your muscles tighten as you are charred. The End
