we wanted to get a savannah kitten till i called up some breeders and it was literally three thousand loving dollars for a quality kitten current plan is to get a pixie bob or norwegian forest cat next, i want giant huge longhaired cats

thats what we did with our current cat, she's a shelter kitty and p. awesome it sucks, they're not doing spays/neuters any more at our city animal place because the shelter is underfunded because the shelter is overcrowded because they don't do spays/neuters any more

$80 is doable and im fortunate enough to be able to pay stuff like that (it's $55-60 here btw, we're in hickville) but maybe my concern is the tens of thousands of people in my town who maybe can't, and as such animals needlessly suffer because of it

soft paws are own b/c you can get them in dumb neon colors and poo poo also the cat completely forgets about them in about two days and if they get out and REALLY need to fight for their lives generally the force will pull them off (they're just held on with a dot of super glue) and they will have some good dog nose slashin' claws ready to go

when our cat got a blood test they got her in the front arm for it, and put this little mesh compression tube thingy over her arm she did this stupid little walk where she stiff-armed that one and limped around, swinging it out to the side think peg leg on a cat we felt so bad for her but laughed anyways
