Looking on deviantart I see countless people who are drawing really bad art, have been doing it for several years, and have made little if any progress. Even though there is hundreds of pages of it in their gallery. I think its important to ensure what you are drawing is actually teaching you perspective, anatomy, lighting, line/pencil variation and control and so on.
