Proposed Budget: $10k New or Used: Used Body Style: Compact How will you be using the car?: Commuting to work, 40 mi/day What aspects are most important to you? Reliability, MPG, somewhat more power than the average econobox So I'm at the point right now where my Mk. IV GTI is going to cost more to fix than it's currently worth. I'm still not 100% sold on replacing rather than repairing it, because my budget frankly isn't quite enough to get something newer that is as powerful and comfortable. I'm not really interested in another VW at this point, so I've been looking at the Impreza 2.5RS for example. However they are pretty rare in New England and I am honestly at a loss as far as what other cars to consider. Does anyone have any recommendations?
