Proposed Budget: 15k less New or Used: used Body Style: sedan v6 or turbo? How will you be using the car?: way less than 12k annual easy business commuting. I think my office is three miles away. The courthouse is ten. Do you prefer a luxury vehicle with all the gizmos? No. I don't listen the radio and I can roll a window down. What aspects are most important to you? Reliability, cost certainty. I don't care about mpg. I want to go fast, fastly I want to reiterate: I want to go fast. euphronius fucked around with this message at 01:13 on Oct 3, 2014 |

Following up I found a dealer with a 2012 avenger with the 3.6l v6 with low miles that looks nice. Any thing I should be on the look out for. 28k miles listed for 16k. I suppose I could talk them down to 14k or so.

Yeah it was plenty fast enough. I didn't see any cts vs in my price range anyway. Same with anything Japanese or Korean. I saw a decent 300 but I did not like the look. The nearest g8 gt was 400 miles away. euphronius fucked around with this message at 04:29 on Oct 5, 2014 |

Proposed Budget: 20K New or Used: Does not matter Body Style: 2-4 door How will you be using the car?:Super long commute. 180 miles a day - 99% highway. Would like close to or over 40 mpg. What aspects are most important to you? MPG. I am 6'2" so I need to fit in it. Starting new job in July. Going from 5 mile day commute to 180. Will have to sell my current car (20 mpg.) I will learn to drive standard if needed.

If you're going to be putting 180 miles per day on a car, you want to do it to a car that's already high mileage. You could also just buy a new economy car and drive the poo poo out of it, my Boss's 6 year old Lexus has 190k miles. What do you mean by "new economy car".

Proposed Budget: 20K-40K New or Used: Don't care Body Style: wagon or suv - must be able to seat 6. How will you be using the car?: daily family use, daily commute (less than 10 miles), long family trips. What aspects are most important to you? Must seat 6, must have AWD or 4wd (which means no minivans I think), bluetooth, rooffrack. MPG not important. Cannot be a ford flex.

You need trunk space for groceries and strollers and pack and plays and luggage. Strollers are huge. Also if you want anyone to be able to sit in the front passenger seat the car has to be decently sized. If you have two car seats even more so. Crossovers (modern station wagons) are ideal imho.

Highlander too.

# ¿ Dec 9, 2015 19:07 |

Strollers with large wheels and canopies are useful for a variety of things and are obviously large. Car seats are only big when they are really young and have to be backwards facing. But if your having two kids that's like 3 + years of time. If your having kids hahah an extra 10k is minuscule to what is coming out of your pocket for them.
|
# ¿ Dec 9, 2015 20:30 |

They aren't unwieldy and are much easier to handle due to the larger wheels. The larger canopy is more protection against the sun and weather. Basically if you use it outside its better. If you want to jog you need huge wheels. IMHO.
