I was under the impression that The Walking Dead is Rick's story, and the book is going to last exactly as long as he does. I seem to remember Kirkman saying something like that in one of the letter columns. This latest issue has me wishing we could get an Elseworlds or something where Negan and Barracuda from Ennis's books go on a road trip together.
