I've read through the two compendium books which covers through #96. What's my best option for continuing on with the series? Do I have to buy individual issues or are the other groupings of issues? Also are the backstory issues any good, like the Woodbury and Governor ones?

OK got my #18 trade today and ripped through it during lunch. Still not sure if I should go to monthly reading though as it took me a few minutes to get orientated and remember where we left off.
