A cheaper alternative to the MX Revolution would be the MX620. I picked one up on sale as an extra wireless mouse for my PC and Macbook, and it's been working pretty great. The receiver's small, it uses 2 AAs that last very long, and it just feels nice overall. It uses a switch on the bottom to switch between free spin and clicky scrollwheel though. I use a G5v2 for general gaming and the MX620 for everything else.
