It's as ghetto as it sounds  Holding the lens with a pair of pliers (taped to stop it from falling out) then just cover the phones lens with it, I might try to make a better mount at some point but I was just trying it out today.

Your DVD player lens seems to be really good quality. I've got a Sony DVD Player lens that gives me massive chromatic abberations:

It was actually from the Xbox 360 external HD-DVD drive, you can probably pick them up for about $5/£5 now, considering how useless they are.

Took this with classicTOY and the lens was jelly or something like that. (I just got an iPhone) And this was taken with Blendcam (a thing for multiexposures) then messed with in classicTOY (it has a "sampler" lens...)
