I don't have any experience or know what they offer, but my Dad has rented cars a few times and he said Bayswater car rentals were really cheap. But you're picking up and dropping it back off at Sydney? With just 2 weeks I'd pick up in Sydney, drop off in Brisbane and fly back to Sydney.
