Glad I found this thread. It has a lot of useful information for dealing with people who just want to make your life miserable. I have been out of a job for the past year and four months and for the past few months I have been unable to pay a couple of bills. I do not dispute that I owe the bills, I racked them up like an idiot (about 6K total), but I had the job to easily pay for them. I am just starting the process to get back on my feet (finally found a job) again, but these companies don't care one bit about the situation you are in. Thanks again for all the information!
