ansel autisms posted:for the first 2, what are you going for with your crops? why is the bowl cut off? is the second one about the pasta machine, not the pasta itself? These were both some of my first photos with a dslr. I still like them but recognize thir faults. For the first I was trying to follow the rule of thirds like a good photography student, but probably cut off too much. The second one is about the making of fresh pasta. I liked the color contrast but would use a larger aperture if taking the shot today.
