VEGA - No Reasons has a great retro 80s feel to it and if Whitest Boy Alive - Golden Cage (Fred Falke Remix) doesn't give you chills you're not playing it loud enough. So what's coming in 2010? MGMT have a new album coming in Spring, Miami Horror are releasing their first album sometime soon, a new PNAU album will continue the tradition of never leaving Australian shores. We've also seen a teaser for Midnight Juggernauts which sort of sucked.

Don't know if this track really belongs here, but I have to post it somewhere. I've listened to it like 25 times the last week, it's amazing. Too bad nothing Hudson Mohawke has ever done comes close to this (best contender would be Overnight). Anybody got any recommendations along these lines? Apart from the Adult Swim remixes, that is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfFhmszkTLQ

I made a mix for a relative this Christmas, I haven't mixed in two years (was a dj for 6, but mostly just producing now). It's messy, it's a one shot thing (really silly, embarrassing mix into Flashmob), but if you're hard up for some music you could do worse. Also, a lot poppier than usual as she is a bit of a bopper so that explains Day n Nite. Do your worst. Also I couldn't be bothered to take the intro out, so this will work as a good christmas present for anyone who knows someone named Denise next year. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M9Q7JARD Dosem - Silent Drop Renato Cohen - Magica Kid Cudi v Crookers - Day n Nite Shadow Dancer - Cowbois The MFA - The Difference it Makes Vitalic - See the Sea (Red) Renato Cohen - Power Jurgen Paape - Take That Vitalic - Flashmob Brian Sanhaji - Stereotype(Virgil Enzinger remix) Laurent Garnier - The Man with the Red Face Oxia - Whole Life Vince Watson - A Very Different World Hiroaki Iizuka - Glow(Echoplex Remix) Nathan Fake - The Sky was Pink(James Holden Remix) Surkin - Radio Fireworks Diplo - Wassup Wassup (feat. I mean, if you've heard the rest of Oracular Spectacular it's not very electronic at all and goes towards more of the "psychedelic rock for hipsters" feel. It's not terrible, some of the songs are pretty cool, but I do wish they'd stick more with their electronic roots since their singles from the album really did deserve the hoopla they got if you ask me. You can find live versions of the songs that are presumably going to be on the new album, and yeah, they aren't bad but they aren't great either- it sounds like your average intelligence-conscious college group.

Does anyone listen to stations on Shoutcast? Can anyone recommend anything for house/trance/dance music. I've found 181.FM Energry 98. It's a pretty good mix of everything. Also does anyone know what song they sampled in this track? It's got a really strong 80's vibe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDqtAbn5D0A
