Say, Halo my Quake 3 in Bungie for Half-Life 2!
Here are some of my favourite artists/bands/producers/whatever that haven't been mentioned yet:

Bestrack - This French guy has been making songs for his MySpace for a little while under the name Bestrack Productions, and he recently released an EP. He does some really awesome funky/disco/electro remixes, in particular this one made for a remix contest (which he won) for DatA's amazing track Rapture: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtPvrHl8jWo

Chromeo - It's a band of a couple guys from Montreal (one of which is A-Trak's brother) who make some of the best funky, catchy retro tunes I've heard. They're noticably popular, and they have a whole bunch of releases. Maybe they belong in the Electro-Pop thread, but there are some sweet remixes of their tracks out there. Here's their song Bonafied Lovin' remixed by the French producer Yuksek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYAZoTCkkPI

Danger - The last thread started with posts about this guy. He's from France and mixes chiptunes, eighties movie-soundtrack music, and electro together to make something really cool. Here's his remix of Sebastien Tellier's song called Divine and link to the previous thread: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FwbsSdWh-U, http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=2711929

DatA - He's on the same label as Danger and makes French electro. I'm not sure how to describe his music without overusing the words "funky", "disco", "retro", and "electro", or comparing him with more popular French artists like Daft Punk and Justice. But it's really good! Here's a music video for one of the collaborations he did with Sebastian Grainger called One In A Million: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prSHsDIwNiw

Feed Me - Apparently it's an alias for a dubstep producer based in the UK, under which he uses his heavy, dirty synths to make some really awesome electro house. I really know much about him, but I know he has some sweet remixes and killer tracks, like this one called The Spell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6Cxq4_RCEs

Felguk - I don't know much a lot this Brazilian producer-duo either, but I've loved every song I've heard by them. Also like Feed Me, their tracks seem to be more DJ-friendly, as opposed to the other bloghouse artists listed above. Check out their Daft Punk remix, which like their other stuff is glitchy and energetic and well-produced: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWlTt2quUwA

MSTRKRFT - Pronounced "mastercraft", these considerably well-known guys are from Toronto and have produced a ton of tracks in their unique electro style. Here's the song that their latest album, Fist Of God, was named after: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYf_TwXb6D4

Wolfgang Gartner - This is another alias for another veteran producer. I haven't heard much of his older stuff, but his recent tracks are really amazing. They're typically really chopped-up and heavy electro house with little melodic bits and great production value. Here's his latest track, Fire Power: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bt4H7S0Yc_0

And here are some more tunes I love that would probably fit in this thread:
The Bloody Beetroots - Have Mercy On Us http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSUDGB5VJgU
Boys Noize - Jeffer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=074opL6l3vw
DJ Mehdi - Signatune (Thomas Bangalter Edit) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sbTmLvL7fQ
Kapture - Regeneration http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hS4k8YXyBc
The Kills - Cheap And Cheerful (SebastiAn Remix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1Z_KQ-G_xM
Tesla Boy - Electric Lady http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omaoZfQN5cc
Yuksek - So Down (featuring Chromeo) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKoQN9oT08k
Zombie Nation - Radio Controlled (Hey Today Remix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztEXbZib8vs

I don't know, man. He has a few good ones. You might like his Love Juice remix, which I think is a lot like his first EP. Also, Revolte at 22h10 is awesome and apparently a remix of a song called Weak Generation. Then there's the Divine remix I posted on the last page and a rework of Boyz Noize's song Oh! called Ne.Oh!.Pen (named after his graphic designer, Neopen), which is worth sitting through the intro of to get to the good stuff.

DatA - Blood Theme

As well as Genesis and Stress from Justice. It's hard for me to describe why I like them but the songs have a "mood" to them that I really like. It feels dark and gritty. If I were to describe the feeling, pretend you're driving a really nice luxury car really fast at night with neon lights all around you. v:shobon:v Any recommendations?

So if you're planning to DJ with tracks, does 192 cut out the sub bass?

It's the opposite, actually: It cuts out the higher pitched sounds. More samples per second means a higher possible frequency. And it just makes things sound clearer.

I personally can't stand anything under 320 kbps, because there's just so much of a difference to me when mixing between high- and low-quality songs. Though sometimes I settle for 256 and just turn up the treble a bit.

This is such a cool concept. The original tracks are a little too old school for me, however, but I guess that's the point. And the remixes make up for it anyway, by great artists like Fred Falke and Siriusmo no less.

I can totally see what you mean here. I'm a big fan of his crazy, glitchy, epic songs like Hook Shot and Fire Power, but less so of some of his more recent stuff. This one is especially quite different from the Wolfgang I love, but I guess he's a semi-mainstream club producer after all, and he has a niche to fill.

Has anyone heard Feed Me's album? It kicks a whole lot of rear end. Its tracks are all over the Beatport charts, which is great because it seemed like nobody appreciated him before. I guess that's the power of releasing on mau5trap, as can be seen by Skrillex's album too.

Anyway, if you haven't heard Feed Me, it's a side project by the drum 'n' bass producer Spor. He makes some epic electro house with really gritty bass, and there's even some dubstep on the album as well. Edit: Now it's Para One & Tacteel, after which comes Acid Washed and then Danger, I think. So far it's been pretty cool.

There's another French guy called Sebastian who I see as a progenitor of the so-called "complextro" movement (terrible name, I know) that Madeon probably falls into. He's probably not as accessible as Madeon is, but here's one of his lighter remixes you might like:

And of course, on the topic of French electro, there's also Justice. Here's a song with a cool video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50BBNZ-ejjU

Wolfgang Gartner makes some glitchy stuff like Madeon, too, and I know they're boths fans of each others' music. Here's a song/video with will.i.am (but I like the instrumental version better, to be honest):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GK5O5-LPB7g

Other than that, Russ Chimes makes some vaguely-retro-sounding feel-good music like Madeon, Feed Me makes glitchy electro like him, Far Too Loud does something similar, and Savant is a crazy kid who pumps out music like a machine. Plus there's always Deadmau5 and Skrillex, but I'm sure you know them by now.

I'm hoping this is the right thread for this, but I'm really starting to get into Glitch-Hop. I discovered it on accident while browsing internet radio stations and really got a kick out of it because it's scratching all the right spots for me – strong hook, elaborate instrumentation, great synths, effects up the wazoo and more. I still know next to nothing about the genre (such as prominent artists etc) but I'm listening to compilations and so far I heard some really cool stuff.

For examples, Subvert by Au5 & Fractal and Polka Dot Bop by Pistol Shrimp is what I've been enjoying the most so far.

I dig some glitch hop, too. Here's some stuff that I like:

KOAN Sound, a duo on Skrillex's OWSLA label, is the group that introduced me to glitch hop. I think that most of their stuff is dubstep, but they've released a bunch of glitch hop, too. My favourites are "Funk Blaster" and "Eastern Thug". If you like them, then look for their Funk Blaster EP and Adventures of Mr. Fox EP and their remix of Skrillex.

Pegboard Nerds are another couple of guys who make glitch hop, too. You might like "We Are One" and "Frainbreeze".

Kill Paris' remix of Kill the Noise's "Saturn" and Branx's "Smoove Operator" are a little slower, but I like them as well. Also, I don't know if this counts as glitch hop, but "Head/Off" by Sebastian is probably my favourite song, so I have to recommend it.
