Anyone got some recommendations for poo poo similar to this track I love:

Boreta - Bubblin in the Cut. Pulled this track from the Crush Mode Mixtape released by the Glitch Mob last year.

I've gone through the tracklisting for the mixtape to try and check the other artists on there but none of it seems to hit the same spot as this track.

Honestly this is one of my all-time favorites, sometimes I think nothing compares to it

I think this one has a similar vibe though, heavy-rear end bass and vocal samplage, see what you think

So uh.. guess who's newest EP dropped yesterday?

I'm listening to it right now, and I have to say that Danger is definitely straying from his original "Final Fantasy" sound into dancier stuff.

It's not something I can make up my mind on just yet. On one hand, he's straying moving on into something different, on the other - it's his original sound that put him on the map.

I think it's his original sound reconfigured into a more mainstream accessible appeal. I like all 3 of the tracks a lot. I think it's a great way for someone to be introduced to him or re-introduced if they found the first EP too much.

I'm sure he'll prove he still has the I in IDM for his last EP/Album

CC are loving amazing, and i suggest everyone see them live. When they played in ottawa years ago Alice was freaking out on stage, jammed some dudes head up her skirt while screaming into the mic. Me and my buddy were standing on the side of the stage, she ran over and jumped on my back and essentially humped my tailbone and got in a loving wrestling match with me.

It's pretty much one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

The singer's great for audience interaction and all (I've never seen so much crowd surfing in an electro act) but yeah thats about it. I saw them live and had quite the opposite experience. Alice's screaming just seems so unfitting and useless 90% of the time, she ruins any melody that the synth bros are going for. The only song I remembered enjoying was "crimewave", which thankfully they played about three times, realizing their only strength. At the end, they gave a big "gently caress off" to the crowd and refused to do any encores.

I Much preferred Crystal Method the week before

But to say you become this massive, "up on a podium" performer by playing other peoples productions, at the same speed as someone else's productions and fading between the two of them, I don’t get it...

I concur. The world would probably be a better place if every DJ had to produce all or most of the tracks they played. There'd be a lot more material/variety and a lot less of the bullshit you speak of.

I'm fine with masks, I think they're cool if they if give the artist more of an image or sort of complement their music. ie. Robotic themes in Daft Punk's songs match their helmets, Mysterious Cinematic elements match Danger's shadowy mask, etc.

Heyo this goes out to all the Danger Fans, Can anyone explain what is going on here?

Recently An old unreleased track (13h40) has been revealed here: http://www.stopthenoise.fr/2011/11/06/danger-13h40-et-ses-projets/

It sounds RAD TO THE MAX and echoes the older 2007-08 Danger, although there's no clear way of telling it's real...

More importantly, if you read the article and look at the comments, the first post by a José is this little gem : http://i.imgur.com/BwWT7.png
Looks like a whole catalogue of Danger tracks, of course how could any of this be real?

Sure enough, in a later post José uploads another Danger Track (Sounding a lot less finished) :
http://soundcloud.com/emmanuelderouge/21h34

I've tried to sherlock holmes this, but to no avail, can anyone shed any light? Or have any other theories?
13h40 sounds pretty convincingly like Danger, But I think this José is a load of BS

CubistK2

I believe you, and I agree that Jose's probably pullin everyone's leg.

But I've listened to the ITM mix and 13H40 isn't played in in it, unless I completely missed it somewhere.

Are you sure it contains this song? - http://soundcloud.com/stopthenoise/danger-13h40-old-unreleased

Any Danger fans get in on this?

http://www.stopthenoise.fr/2013/01/13/level0-demos-danger-2005-2007/

They ended up leaking a couple of his demos from 2005-07. And then promptly removed them after his label spoke up. Happened 3 days ago.

If only I had checked Danger news obsessively like I used to, then I would've had a listen before they were gone...

Aside from that, the album is monumental, love how each of his songs, no matter how tender they begin- always have a moment of intensity
