electro babby checking in. I recently got the Manners CD by Passion Pit as a joke gift by a friend and in a stunning turn of events, I love the poo poo out of it. It's not grim or frostbitten but I absolutely love it. Now, I don't know anything about the genre and I tried out some of the music that was posted in this thread and I can say I definitely don't like Daft Punk or techno-disco. I'm kind of excited that I have so much music to discover but I need some more music to identify a style. So yeah, more artists like Passion Pit would rule :)

Sorry, I don't really know what genre Passion Pit would be. I heard synths and immediately classified them as more electronica but I can see now why they are not really a fit for this thread. My bad! Although the remixes were pretty cool - I especially liked the Yasutaka Nakata Capsule remix.

And yes, I'm not really the typical demographic Passion Pit appeals to and thus why it was a "gag" gift from another metalhead. poo poo is good though!
