LE0N posted:also new Dj zinc apparently (hopefully, i loving loved crack house) Oh god I hope so....I still regularly listen to his Essential mix....plus him and Dave Spoon's Ghost Train (lee mortimer mix) is probably still my fav track. It's got everything that I love about "electro" music compact nicely into approx 6 minutes.

On David Guetta's One Love. David Guetta & Afrojack Feat. Wynter Gordon - Toyfriend So did Guetta sample from A-Trak or the other way around? Not that it matters that much, just curious.

melee beats posted:Basically an instrumental of the song came out, and some bedroom kid used phase inversion (or cooking) to extract the acapella. I used that in my track without consulting her label because I'm not selling it and it would cost them more to sue me than what they would gain. The exact answer I was looking for. As much as I knew that people did that, I wasn't sure if that applied to you since you're actually under a label.

A few weeks or maybe months ago, someone on here posted their full length mix - DJHelix - Bangers (mixcloud mix if anyone missed it - http://www.mixcloud.com/djHelix/dj-helix-bangers/). One of the tracks on there (the whole thing is great btw), I really enjoyed: Homework - Trumpet Express So I went exploring for more of their stuff and couldn't beleive that I've never ventured into the realm of Tech House. Specifically Homework themselves. Currently playing this track non-stop Homework - Fissa Tune While I could browse through endless youtube suggestions and find some odd gems, can anyone recommend me some other tech house artists similar to homework's style that I could try?

A few weeks back there was a lot of talk about Nu Disco / Disco house (such as Phantom's Revenge - A Better Day). Well I stumbled across a fantastic album. Shiny Disco Club - "Millenium Disco" Free download there too!! I'm in love!! I just can't get enough of it. Some standouts are Galactik Knights - Apocolypse Cheap Kidz - Calypso Lebatman - Shootout Keep bringing on the Disco (I'm looking at you Melee....)

Leper Residue posted:Man. The first five minutes of this, I was kind of pissed. I mean why should I be listening to this when I could be listening to the Geisha Twins mix for the billionth time. This is what I do. Since it's a mixcloud mix. You can click on tracks within a mix that you like and it will bring up similar mixes with that track in it. Listen to those as well. Click on tracks in those mixes you like. Rinse repeat. Next thing you know you have the names of a whole bunch of artists that produce similar music. Look at the names of artists that remix the tracks in these mixes that you like and search on youtube for them, Listen to tracks you like. Then go find albums that you can buy, download, etc...
