In 2006, a group of people with no video game making experience attempted to create a steampunk RPG called The Zybourne Clock. The project was announced with great fanfare; promising over 100 hours of content and a flute-related combat system. As people began to mock the early concept art and storyline of the game, the developers became more and more defensive. People were thrown off the project for criticizing it and information about the game became hard to come by. At the same time, members of the Something Awful forum, where the project had initially been heavily promoted, began producing incredibly hilarious fan-art based on the unreleased game. Eventually, the project fell apart. However, it lived on as an internet meme. This is where we come in. Inspired by The Zybourne Clock, we have completed a short film called Five Aces. Our film features an original story inspired by the internet meme. Five Aces was filmed in the California desert and is nearly complete. Now we need your help to get us over the finish line. http://www.indiegogo.com/zc
