2010 BMW F800GS Dual Sport Motorcycle, Near New, Can U Say Farkle!!! - $17500 (Boulder)

Hello all. So, I'm selling this beauty for my buddy. He got this bike to replace his 1200GS Adventure, loved it and then decided he likes riding pedal bikes more... go figure. It is a 2010 model in Alpine White.

Here we go. This bike has 378 miles. That is not a typo, it is not even broken in yet!! Needles to say this bike is cherry with no issues at all. I rode pretty much all these miles with my buddy and the bike saw some dirt roads and that's about it. All the farkles listed below were put on new at the dealer by factory techs when he took delivery. I have a clear title in hand and it is ready to be transferred over to the new owner.

Bike is located in Boulder, CO and I will help out with a fly & ride or with any out of state shipping. Let me know what you need!!

Asking price is $17,500. May seem high at first glance, but see below for details. Please note that there was extra labor costs from the dealer, as well as sales tax that I am not listing.

Some highlights include Ohlins rear shock & front springs, Adventure Cases, Leo Vince Exhaust, PIAA front lights, Touratech parts all over, you get the idea. Bike will come with extra key, all paper work and manuals.

Original sale price: $13,500. ABS, heated grips, Clear Turn Signals, Center Stand, On Board Computer. Has a OEM low saddle on now.

- Ohlins Rear Shock: $875

- Ohlins Front Fork Springs: $135

- Leo Vince Slip-On Exhaust: $380

- BMW Skid Plate: $270

- BMW Hand Guards w/Large Spoiler: $210

- BMW Touring Windscreen: $460

- BMW Adventure Cases, Mounts & Locks that have been keyed to Ignition Key: $1800

- Touratech Crash Bars w/Upper Extensions: $650

- Touratech Folding Shifter Lever: $52

- Touratech Folding Brake Lever: $96

- Touratech 15t Front Sprocket: $27

- Touratech Side Stand Enlarger: $30

- Touratech Front Mud Guard Riser Kit: $150

- Touratech Aluminum Rear Rack: $86

- Metzler Karoo 2 Tires, F& R: $296

- PIAA 510 Front Lights, Light Bar & CanBus Helper: $485

- Fastway Foots Pegs: $130

So, the parts total came to: $6,132.

First off, check the video to hear the exhaust & check out the bike. Click video and pictures to make them bigger!!!

Reminds me of the Desmosedici for sale with 14 miles on it. You know he limped it 6.5 miles to get it warmed up, opened it up, left a half mile long trail of poo poo, and then carefully rode it home. The difference is he was only asking 50k for a 90k bike. :xd:

I really like these kind of owners, they're the best people to buy bikes from. My boss bought a R1100S last year from a guy who was the orginal owner. Bought it in 2003 and the bike had 5K miles on it. He had 4 different seats 3 sets of bars and about 3K of carbon fiber bits and spare exhaust setups. As far as we could tell he just came home everyday and rubbed it with a diaper. Both tires had about 8 lbs of pressure, and looked as if they had never been leaned more than 15 degrees in either direction. Sold it for 5000.

The aftermarket parts MSRP alone was about equal to what he sold the bike for.

That can go both ways, the guy who owned my Bandit before me just pooped it back and forth to work every day, then came home and parked it. I dont think it had ever seen redline, and the tires were square as can be.

Then he tried to change the oil himself rather than taking it to the dealer, and promptly stripped the oil pan threads :downsgun:

People let them sit without gas in the tanks, so they rust through :( can be fixed with POR-15. the late model 900ss is a great bike, though the 1000DS SS is thought by many a Ducatisti to be the ultimate street bike

That's an R6 rear fairing he has on there, iirc that usually requires some subframe fuckery. Make sure to check the welds and everything around there if you go for it. Also check the voltage regulator, I forget when Yamaha switched from the lovely non-heatsinked ones on FZRs that like to eat themselves to the better ones that do have heatsinks.

It may be low mileage, but cop bikes take a proper beating when they're in service. I can't remember the specifics right now, so I'll let someone else chip in, but it's probably not the best idea unless you REALLY like maintenance.
