I really like these kind of owners, they're the best people to buy bikes from. My boss bought a R1100S last year from a guy who was the orginal owner. Bought it in 2003 and the bike had 5K miles on it. He had 4 different seats 3 sets of bars and about 3K of carbon fiber bits and spare exhaust setups. As far as we could tell he just came home everyday and rubbed it with a diaper. Both tires had about 8 lbs of pressure, and looked as if they had never been leaned more than 15 degrees in either direction. Sold it for 5000. The aftermarket parts MSRP alone was about equal to what he sold the bike for.

That can go both ways, the guy who owned my Bandit before me just pooped it back and forth to work every day, then came home and parked it. I dont think it had ever seen redline, and the tires were square as can be. Then he tried to change the oil himself rather than taking it to the dealer, and promptly stripped the oil pan threads

http://bham.craigslist.org/mcy/1598941218.html '09 R6 with less than 1000 miles for $6300. Sounds like it might have been low-sided at low speed ("scuffs") but a pretty much new (and stock, that's a good thing) bike for almost $4K less than sticker price. Seller was asking like $7500 for it bearly a week ago. http://bham.craigslist.org/mcy/1589647339.html '08 YZ250F for $3300. Not too shabby, retailed for around $7K new. I'm not a big fan of 4 stroke MX bikes or track riding in general but the YZ's are drat fine offroaders/woods bikes and pretty reliable for a small bore racer. http://bham.craigslist.org/mcy/1581191502.html Complete '07 ZZR 600 motor with a supposed 330 miles for $800. Has the radiator, airbox, carbs (FI?) and electrics. If it's really all there and isn't FUBAR'd that's a drat fine deal. http://bham.craigslist.org/mcy/1598157827.html '01 YZ250 for $1650. A used 2006 VFR for $7500 is a good deal, right guys? http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/mcy/1602461110.html posted:this is 2006 honda vfr has 3600 miles on it. i changed windshield to a tinted one and has two brothers twin exhausts which is top of the line. sound awesome that you will fall in love with it. also this bike runs only with 2 cylinder while you are riding low rpm but its v4 v-tech engine so v-tech kicks in after 6600rpm then you are flying so must be careful because it kicks it so strong. both head light comes on at the same time so visibility is very high. has lower seat than other super sporty bikes so your back wont hurt after a long~~ ride. color is pearl white so its beautiful and rare. rear wheel is held by single strut so it makes the bike special like bmw high end sport bikes. you will love it once you see it and ride it. its also honda so its maintenance free. also it runs 50mile per gallon so thats plus for the bike~ im only selling the bike only because i lost interest. as you can see, its got only 3600mile on it till now~ also it has stock pearl white matching color carriage that goes on both side of the bike so you can put things in there. each one is big enough to put a helmet so its cool. as you can see the picture there is a metal wreck under the seat which looks great too. thats where it goes each side. it has been always kept in my garage. it feels good and fun so let me know only if you are serious~! thanks~! this is my email xxxxx@xxxxx.com Endless Mike fucked around with this message at 02:58 on Feb 16, 2010 |
