Really like the look of this bike. I haven't taken my MSF yet, but thought I would share it. I've been scouring craigslist to see what sort of bikes I like, and what are in my price range. Is that a reasonable price for year and model? Seems low.

That's a pretty good deal. I paid close to that for an 05 SV650S with 12,000 miles, a full aftermarket exhaust system, Power Commander 3 and brand new tires. I don't think it would be unreasonable to offer $3200 or $3300...

If I can give you one piece of advice it would be to follow your heart when buying a bike. If the SV feels right, go for it. A bike should make you smile every time you look at it and go for a ride.

Ok someone convince me why I shouldn't sell both the DRZ and 929 and buy one of these.

Wish I could find something like this near me. Everyone around Boston with a decade old DRZ apparently thinks they're worth $4500+.

For anyone in the New England area - someone put a 690 SMC for sale in VT. This is the first one I've seen for sale around here in a loooooooooong time.

I'm super tempted to pick it up but I have stuff to buy for the house right now :(

Is that some sort of distinction?

The last time I posted it people commented on the clutch being replaced already (and fork seals) that the bike may have been a little beat on.
