Mob posted:Thread has been dead for a month, but if you have instant watch and haven't seen The Wild & Wonderful Whites of West Virginia then you need to cancel Netflix and go back to your Betamax, granpa. I watched this the other night and was immensely entertained/disturbed. It's basically an hour and a half Jerry Springer casting call. The Crazies was just added if you're a fan of the zombie-ish genre. It's quite a good remake.

So are they ever planning on adding more Family Guy/American Dad or are we stuck with what we have now? By the way, the first season of Comedy Central's version of Futurama is now up.

Just noticed that MicMacs was added to the queue. It's a very entertaining French film from the director of Amelie, Delicatessen, and City of Lost Children, so if you liked any of those films I promise you will enjoy this one. Raskolnikov2089 has a new favorite as of 23:38 on Apr 18, 2011 |

The Man From Nowhere http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/The_Man_from_Nowhere/70159333?trkid=2361637 This was a hit at Fantastic Fest last year, and I see why. It's basically the Korean version of "Taken", but it's much more awesome than that. I heartily recommend.

Korean cinema is pretty much my "go to" for awesome foreign movies. They're so deliciously hosed up, you can't help but love them. Best Korean films on view instantly right now: Mother The Host The Chaser Oldboy Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance Lady Vengeance Thirst The Good, The Bad and The Weird and of course The Man from Nowhere Also, it's not on view instantly, so add it to your DVD queue and watch it immediately: Save the Green Planet Awesome, awesome, hilariously dark movie.

Blog promises substantial additional streaming content soon, so I'm optimistic. I wonder if the DVD service being spun off into a separate company will make streaming content easier to acquire, since a lot of the big studios are unhappy with the Netflix/Redbox way of doing things. Still, I was promised Frasier over a year ago. WTF Netflix?
