settes posted:Louis CK: Chewed Up if you want to see one of the best standup comedians ever Came here to post this almost exactly word for word. I'll make this post about shows, since I have so much to recommend. Netflix instant streaming is all I really watch any more. The Showtime shows are mostly up there and are all pretty great. That is to say Dexter, Weeds, Dead Like Me, and Californication. The Tudors is worth watching, but I wouldn't call it great. Seriously if you have watched everything you can from each of those series (though the last couple season of Weeds is just kind of okay) then you are a loser. There is a bunch of No Reservations up there, if you like traveling or food. If you have ever played an NES you owe it to yourself to watch all of The Super Mario Super Show and Captain N The Game Master. Milk Chan is so bizarre I don't even know where to describe it. You'll either love it or hate it. It's like Citizen Kane if you're on weed. The Riches is a show from a couple years ago that I've only just started watching. Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver play the leads, what more do you want? They also have classic Astro Boy if you're into that kind of thing. There's also some Voltron.

Cardboard Fox posted:They're got all the seasons of Lost on HD stream except for the last one. Any idea when they usually put the last seasons on stream? I may just have to send out for the disks. They usually put the last season of a show up right before the next one starts, but since Lost is done I don't know what's going to happen. I assume that the reason they have shows like this up is because the stations that own them let them put them up cheaply or possibly even for free to try and catch more people for the actual TV run of an upcoming season. I wouldn't be surprised if Lost just kind of falls off the stream.

Almost every time I add a movie to my instant queue, Cashback will be one of the movies in that window of similar/suggested movies that pops up. Also, I wish there was some way to erase individual things off of my viewing history. I want to watch Live Nude Comedy, but I don't want my girlfriend to find out . Save yourself some time and download some porn. The movie is basically a boring / ridiculous 20 something dramedy with occasional tits and a touch of full frontal.

A Nice Boy posted:Reaper seasons 1 and 2 got added last week. I vaguely remembered hearing that it was really good when it first came out, but I never got a chance to watch it. It was cancelled after two seasons because it was on that lovely CW channel. This show is good, but suffers from "canceled way too drat soon" disease. It never really lost steam and started getting pretty interesting but they axed it early partially because the actors who play Sam and Sock wanted to do other things and proceeded to do nothing but much crappier TV shows. Drewsky posted:Hell yeah. No Reservations is awesome. The Rust Belt episode spends a good deal of time just one The Wire, so it's worth it just for that. This episode is crazy because Snoop talks about how she's changing her life around and what not in it. She's just recently been arrested in a major heroin sting operation. Also, similar to the Rust Belt episode is the Cleveland one which is noteworthy because he spends a fair amount of time paling around with Harvey Pekar.

Speaking of Netflix deals. Showtime is going to pull its crap off of Instant later this year. Apparently they want to start their own premium streaming service, which seems kind of dumb. Anyway, that means that people should really watch Weeds, Dexter Californication, The Tudors, and Dead Like Me since they are all pretty good and might not be around by the time the Showtime content gets pulled.

I know Ren and Stimpy was mentioned before in this thread, but I'm not sure if anyone brought up the the Spike TV version (Ren and Stimpy: Adult Cartoon Party or whatever) that is up. It's a straight up adult (not in the porn sense) cartoon and in some ways will ruin your childhood. It's drat weird but fairly entertaining. Also, I noticed today that Shin Chan is up. Yes it's a Japanese cartoon but it is not anime at all and is hosed up and hilarious. The Japanese version relies on darkish humor dealing with (at the time) current events and weird word play. Since it doesn't really translate over to English they pretty much re-write the English version and does a good job of being just as relevant and bizarrely funny. I highly recommend it, especially if you like to get stoned and watch cartoons like I used to.

They usually release things in batches so we probably still have some Miramax things to go. Also, Way of the Gun is up. I haven't seen the movie in ages but I remember it being pretty good. It has one of the best shoot outs from any movie towards the end and if you hate Sarah Silverman it's worth even just watching the opening because Benicio Del Toro punches her straight in her face.

I haven't been to the website since they've added the ability to search to the 360 interface, but if it's as bad as you guys say it is then it would make me really happy to see them change it back. Considering how often people make lovely design changes for websites and then refusing to admit to the mistake, I think it would send a good message to see a company like Netflix doing it.

They made a moderate amount of money before operating costs which even you admit would be quite high.
