It made me do pretty much a 180 turn on my opinion about snake handlers. You go into it thinking you're about to see some crazy, backwards hillbillies verify all our stereotypes about them. You come out of it realizing the Christianity can be as seriously tripped out, ecstatic, and chaotic as a punk show. It's well put together while avoiding any Errol Morris style gimmicks. It just shows you what happens and makes no demand on the viewer.
