It's more than likely true. The US version of Planet Earth was re-dubbed with Sigourney Weaver narrating. If you're lucky enough to have access to the Canadian Discovery Channel keep an eye out, because we get all of BBC's nature doc's in all their Attenborough glory.

The version of Planet Earth I have is with Attenborough. So it is not impossible to get it here in the US. Hopefully I will manage to do the same with Life.

This was such a hard documentary to watch. You don't want to believe people can be so cruel and sadistic to the one's that trust them most, yet it happens. I don't know if it's a bully mentality mixed with boredom or what of many other possible motives that would lead a man to do what he did.

I had a hard time watching the trailer with no sound. I don't know if I could watch the full thing.
