Epiq posted:I only recently discovered this (because it only came out a couple of days ago :p) so I will share it with you. It's set in my hometown and was a real eye opener, and follows several people who are dealing with various issues in their lives, mostly drugs. I second this, and EVERYTHING I've watched on VBS.TV so far. I recently watched Toxic Imperial Valley http://www.vbs.tv/watch/toxic/toxic-imperial-valley-1-of-2 A couple hours east of San Diego lies the Salton Sea. It shows how hosed up the environment is out there due to the New River coming up from Mexicali and dumping pollutants into the sea, squatters who scavenge from military test zones, and basically just how much the area sucks now.

Nuke Goes KABOOM posted:So is my video out of sync or is the narration just poorly timed? It's out of sync. Everytime you hear a scratch or a beep in the sound, it gets a little further behind. By the end of the movie it's about a full minute behind. It's still watchable with it though, Joaquin Phoenix is just talking about stuff you'll see in a minute.
