My thanks to Fatkraken and all the others who have made this such an interesting thread! I'll add my own praise to the many accolades for Dear Zachary. What a difficult yet wonderful film to see. Regarding the earlier-posted The Creek Runs Red For those who are curious, Picher no longer exists. A massive tornado ripped through there in May of '08, killing a handful of people, injuring many more, and leveling the town. No funds were made available for rebuilding, though residents were compensated for moving elsewhere. Those folks just can't seem to catch a break.
