Some documentaries from the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver BC. A lot of people don't know about our homeless problem and drug problem in the city, and it was all conveniently swept away for most of the Olympics.

From the Vancouver police, they made Through a Blue Lens (2, 3, 4, 5, 6.) which is my favourite of the two. It can be alittle :nms: at times, things like open sores on drug addicts etc.


I lived through a lot of people getting messed up by drugs and the various physical ailments (and occasional overdoses) in NYC during the 80s and 90s. That woman in part 2 with the wound on her arm; I nearly barfed over that.
