Wow. You would think someone that "hates fags" as much as that women would name their kid something other then Gabriel.

Have any of you ever seen Children of God: Lost and found before? It was made by a former second-generation member. Pretty sick what people can be brainwashed into doing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ud4Z9xkre6g

Is there any other good Documentaries on cults or brainwashing people like this? I've seen a lot of Jonestown stuff, anything else?

If any of you have netflix, they just added a bunch of nat geo shows. They have also added the first two seasons of Lock Up. Highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.

Yeah, sorry I noticed that after I posted. Lockdown is stateside prisons, Locked up abroad is out of the states. I thought the shows were locked up/locked up abroad. My bad.

Anyone know of any good docs about Vegas? Specifically about how such large casinos and resorts operate and a kind of behind the scenes look? I have been interested in Vegas recently as it is one of the major locations in the States that I have yet to go to and was thinking of planning a trip there. I watched a doc on youtube by the BBC which was pretty good and got me interested to see if there were anymore good Vegas docs.

Really anything Vegas related would do I'm just curious about it since most of my knowledge comes from movies and poker on ESPN.

What BBC movie did you watch? Was it the Louis Theroux one? If not, you should watch that. Heck everyone should watch that, and any Documentary from him as he is a really awesome journalist.

The movie follows some high roller gamblers and their thoughts on casinos. It also follows a man that works at a casino who's job it is to keep the big players there as long as possible.

It's really amazing that these people feel like the people at the casino's are their best friends, simply by giving them free rooms and whatnot.

It shows that people really can't leave while ahead. Vegas wasn't built on a bunch of winners.

Is there any good documentaries about people winning the lottery and then just blowing it all?

I don't have one off hand, but you just reminded me of Big Bucks: The Press Your Luck Scandal, which is kind of up there, just replace lottery with game show.

Empire of the Desert Ants
Just got down watching this awesome documentary. Yes it is about tiny ants, but they actually have some very amazing footage. I've always wanted to see a documentary about ants, and to get an inside look to the homes they build. What I saw was much more then I could even imagine was going on down there.

I highly recommend this film. http://documentarystorm.com/empire-of-the-desert-ants/

Just watched Shadow Billionaire on netflix and enjoyed it a lot. It's best to go into it without knowing much (don't watch the trailer). It's about the founder of DHL Larry Hillblom and what happened after his sudden death/disappearance. Really fascinating story.

In case you are unaware, it's about two autistic guys who host a local tv show about music. It's been in development for a long time so it's nice to see that it's out.

Tom Green (yes, that Tom Green from MTV) has decided he has had enough of Corona and being stuck inside his house, so he bought a decked out van to live in and travel the us and create videos of his travels.

He's dropped the whacky act and the videos are pretty zen. It's pretty amazing the quality of the videos considering he is doing all the filming/editing/music by himself. He even has some pretty amazing drone footage.

Here he is visiting an off the path ancient city (Chaco Culture National Historical Park in New Mexico)

Fred durst is a 9/11 conspiracy nut. I somehow got his Xbox gamertag in early 2000's and would play cod with him and he'd just talk about 9/11 conspiracies the entire time.
