Would a setup with a Sigma 70-300 (for cheap) and a reverse 50mm give me decent magnification? What would that give me? 2:1?

Would those 2 lenses even work well together?

I now have extension tubes to go with a 105 macro. It's really hard to focus!

It's a hummingbird hawk moth and I nearly shat myself when it flew over my head. It moves around like a hummingbird and is about the size of a large prawn/shrimp. It's hanging round my garden and I can't track it down to get a good photo. Never knew it existed!

Couple of muck around shots with a reversed 28mm and some extension tubes. Decent upper body workout holding this setup with an attached macro arm and external flash too.

Yeah once you start taking photos I find there are 2 things that seem to missing legs/or feet.

Jumping spiders and seagulls

Yes thats true about seagulls. I think they have a detachable lizard tail thing going on or something.

I'm shooting the oly 60mm with either +5 or +10 diopters, and +10 at 1:1 focus makes grains of sand look huge and most things look like alien monstrosities. I think that works out to about 2:1. It's a monster pain in the rear end to shoot.

This one's +10/1:1.

The rest of these were with a +5.

Awesome stuff!

I just ordered some diopters for the 60mm. I find it's already a pain in the rear end to shoot with, so I'm dreading the thought of slapping those diopters on there. :slick:

Finally have my Laowa 100mm and have been using it on and off for the last couple of weeks. Of course it's been super windy too, making it hard to shoot stuff that's hiding on leaves/in bushes. And I'm just making excuses for myself not getting outside enough.

Here's a couple:

Still haven't quite mastered it yet, but liking what it's giving me so far. :)
