As far as Digimon Frontier is concerned, I'm going to put it as thus; When Astroboy 2003 took over the timeslot after Frontier finished, the jump in quality could be measured in magnitudes. If Astroboy had started after Tamers ended, the jump would have been measured in centimetres, at most.

There's some fantastic, Simpsons'esc writing in there ("She'll become a crazy cat lady!" "She only has one cat." "Give her time...") but it's just a good show, nothing more than that. Oh and the fanart/other stuff is great. When it's worksafe, that is.

The sequel series, Go!, is, and I say this with no exaggeration, Zeta Inazuma Eleven. It is about the closest a show will probably get to showing how utterly hosed football and the people who play it can get when the people in charge go completely off the rails. I'm talking about the UK one which had a bunch of edits to stutter frames to prevent the poor kiddywinks from epilepsy or something (This is annoyingly consistent across all of Disney XD/Jetix's DVD's, thier Shaman King disks (One volume, up to episode 8, sigh) had content cuts with the majority of them involving Anna slapping people) and didn't have much in the way of anything.

Disney Dramadies are a tragic waste of whatever those shows are shot on and America's Precious Time. And I'm not just saying that because Inazuma Eleven got poo poo-canned for that stupid "Two doods are Inan gods or whatever" one ether. Though it is a contributing factor.

I honestly think they could do right by One Piece if they run that as the new DBZ. I think the market's healed on that one. Alternatively, get Sgt. Frog do some very light editing (going by late old Toonami standards, I think they could get away with "stupid [beeping] Kululu") and you got yourself a breakout action-comedy with a metric gently caress'ton of merchandise opportunities and a chance for Bandai to do Gunpla right. Outside bets; Inazuma Eleven (has a dub) and Wakfu (would sell "Toonami in HD" like no one's business) Course, that's assuming CN aren't being cunts, theres always that possibility, sadly. Actauly; has anyone actauly gotten a fix on this being on TV? The only Youtube versions I can see striked me as very...doctored. That CN Logo in the bottom is far too clean.
