My favourite P&F moment so far

And it doesn't really bug me that Phineas and Ferb are shaped broadly like the letters P and F respectively. Or that Ferb is voiced by that kid from that Doctor Who two-parter where the Doctor is disguised as a human. Maybe the former not bugging me is cos I like Ed Edd n Eddy and that has even more bizarre character design.

If you'll forgive a nostalgia trip, I'd like to mention a show for very young kids that I watched when I was little, a Swedish show named Pingu about a penguin who is a jerk. I found it on YouTube yesterday. It is a lot weirder than I remember it being.

I came to this thread for the first time ever to specifically make people remember Fillmore! Very clever, an excellent parody of hard-boiled cop dramas set in a school and pretty funny too, in my mind it's an outrage it was cancelled after only 24 episodes.

That middle school had an amazingly high budget, and I don't think I ever saw the main cast go to class. But that's fine cos it made more time for investigations and dramatic car bicycle chases.

Don't discount the show because part, an admittedly large part, of the fanbase is loving insane.

Insane and legit disgusting. I'd argue it's worse than the Sonic fandom because IT IS A CARTOON FOR KIDS WHAT THE gently caress.

It's sad, there's people who are like "it's a fun show who cares if it is for girls" but there's a lot more who are okay with, for example, the major repository for MLP fanart allowing drawings of furry underage porn. And not in the "haha these weirdos must be fapping to a kids cartoon" sense; the "this picture will get you on a watch list" sense.

I don't see how FOR GIRLS is a multiplier on terribleness, but it's still pretty absurdly bad.

That should probably be FOR KIDS, actually, my mistake.

Yep, I never played the games but the show was really pretty lame. I actually watched the series finale out of curiosity a few years back and while the first season of Digimon's final episode legitimately made me tear up as a kid, this one just had me sitting there thinking: "man I'm glad I never got into this franchise, that was loving bland as poo poo." I feel like all those monster card franchises were all pretty universally awful asides Pokemon and Digimon. Was there anybody who ever watched Beyblade? (never mind enjoyed it)

One thing Monster Rancher had going for it was that the kid got off his rear end and joined in beating up the bad guys. Ash never got his hands dirty, he just stood there learning absolutely nothing for 10+ years of show.

Honestly, though, I cannot remember a drat thing about that show.

The kids at work all seem to love those things, as do my coworkers who are parents. I seem to be alone in disliking them, in my workplace anyway. Posing them during the night so that the kids find them in the morning playing with mum's makeup or eating cookies or whatever seems to be the focus more than the 'they watch you' angle, at least as far as I've spotted.

On the other hand they've started selling elf branded fake CCTV cameras, so they can get to gently caress.
