I wish that the Cartoonstitute shorts for CN made it to air, but that they tried something like Cartoon Cartoons again is something, anyway. Chowder and Flapjack were a good way to refresh the network's original programming, after the loss of Foster's and the dreck like My Gym Partner is a Monkey. Adventure Time is as great as it should be and Regular Show looks pretty good too. I find it neat where Quintel got designs for the show from:

You should tell those horrible cartoon people to draw in a cohesive realistic style, give each character discerning facial characteristics (wrinkles, blemishes, etc.), draw each strand of hair individually, and crosshatch every frame by hand and make every frame a nightmare for the animators because gently caress those lazy assholes, if you 'jes wanna doodle go'on back to kindygarden, this is a cartoon for cryin' out loud!!

It's a cartoon, for children, and you're angry how "kiddy" it looks? I sat here looking at your post for about five minutes because I just didn't believe anyone could come up with such flimsy reasoning to arbitrarily dislike something but hey. :shobon:

I'll concede that it's fine you don't like the designs, but the reasons you gave just seem ridiculous. I guess you have a hard time articulating yourself, though, since the first time someone asked you all you could belch out was "Really?" I suppose we can't all be as perceptive as you. :smugbert:

To be fair how many Power Rangers have had much of a career outside of... Power Rangers? Two? Jason David Frank and Johnny Yong Bosch? I don't think it's a stretch that what Yost is saying is pretty close to the truth. The GAY was still a very taboo thing that didn't really get much of a positive (?) light until later in the nineties. But whatever, no way anyone can know for sure, but I still feel bad for him considering everything else that he went through.

Nope. Adventure Time was made by Pen Ward. Sugar's a storyboarder for the show. You might be thinking about Natasha Allegri, a designer and board revisionist for the show (who incidentally, is getting a show on Frederator's Cartoon Hangover web channel). Those other two shows are also by fellas.

Frankly, though, I was doomed the moment I involved http://zone-archive.com/ in my TwilightXSpike game and a lot of this fandom's bad reputation can be blamed on me. Mix in a helping of love/hate relationship and unrequited sexual attraction and you get two very busy animators doing their best to attempt to ignore the other one exists until all this Skullgirls poo poo blows over.

Also, I have some iiiiinteresting facts about Craig McCracken, Lauren Faust, Tara Strong, Andy Price, Katie Cook, and John de Lancie but it falls purely into the poo poo "I'm not supposed to know but learned because I really really loving needed some advice and help with the above problem" category.
